MySQL ODBC connector

I'm switching computers so I have to put WAMP (Windows/Apache/MySQL/PHP) on a new machine to run my database app.

I go to get the latest/greatest ODBC connector from Oracle / MySQL and it is version: mysql-connector-odbc-5.3.9-winx64.exe

Well..... no joy. It appears I can't make a connection to the DB with this driver. When I revert the same version as on my old computer: mysql-connector-odbc-3.51.30-winx64.exe the connection works as expected.

I am not anticipating any major updates to DBPro to accommodate this. This post is just to let you know what I have found to work and what doesn't.

Is normal.

Each time i tried to install 5.xx MySQL ODBC connector, does not work properly.

The 3.5x one works like a charm, and you does not see any perfomance difference.
