It looks like a "search plugin" at the top of some websites may be preventing the NeoBook WebBrowser from displaying the correct page style layout. Too bad... Maybe these site webmasters are using the same search script and should be told of its unintended effects?

I think the same thing happens when those sites are viewed in Internet Explorer - doesn't it? Possibly whoever wrote the search plug-in didn't check to make sure it was cross browser compatible.

I mistakenly thought that IE stopped using the "Compatibility View Settings." But they are still there, hidden in the drop down Tools menu of IE11. Microsoft is being very mysterious about the compatibility issue.... some apps that use the WebBrowser Object like Real Player and Avant Browser seemed to have discovered the trick for correct compatibility views... the others will have to keep trying (or maybe shell out big bucks for a snippet of code.... lol)Neosoft Support wrote:I think the same thing happens when those sites are viewed in Internet Explorer - doesn't it? If we can figure out how the "Compatibility View Settings" actually work maybe we can make use of them in the NeoBook WebBrowser?

If there is some undocumented trick and we can find out what it is, then we probably could use it in NeoBook. If we can figure out how the "Compatibility View Settings" actually work maybe we can make use of them in the NeoBook WebBrowser?
