Can I make a ProgramGroup in Win, when writing an Installer?

Post by ITSquare »

Hi there,

I am currently writing a neobook application but I'd like to deploy it with my own custom made (in Neobook also) Installer, is it possible to create program groups, shortcuts etc. using a script in Neobook? If so does anyone have any helpful scripting or ideas on how this could be done?

Many thanks,
Peter

PS. My appologies if this has been asked before, I did look around before asking this question but didn't find anything in the forums relating to this.

Try MakeScut
http://www.scriptlogic.com/eng/products ... ngtoolkit/

Also you can try ShortCut.exe
http://www.optimumx.com/download/

Both are free. Many other useful utils on both sites.

Alberto_Meyer, can you be more specific as to the thread you posted the plugin in? As I've looked through your posts and still cannot locate it.

Thanks
