The forum search is definitely broken!

Well it seams like the forum search function has lost some serious capabilities! If you search for something like "dbpGetTableNames" it returns an error:
The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: dbpgettablenames.
You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards.
I'm not quite sure of the logic behind that but it seems like has seriously reduced the search functionality. Lucky for use, yet inconvenient, we can resort to our sometimes not so friendly Google using the site search:

Code: Select all

As of today, this works for me. I get a result of 2 posts.

Yes it is working now! Must have been a forum setting :P

EDIT: Still doesn't work with other terms, Seams to be hit 'n miss.

We can try rebuilding the search index. I think with all of the updating and moving it may be out of sync.

Rebuilding the search index seems to have fixed the problem. If not let me know.
