Bit Bunch

Post by smokinbanger »

Version 1.0.2.2 Avaiable

Hey all!
I made this handy little freeware tray application, (I call it "Bit Bunch", where I store a bunch of bits of all kinds of stuff) for storing anything text; Neobook object, frequently used scripts, comments, even template pubs! But it's not limited to Neobook alone, it's also very useful for saving vbscript, command line scripts and switches and developer notes like a list of tables and fields used in a DB app.

Check it out, use it, share it, and post up your likes/dislikes and of course suggestions!

A very interesting and useful program.

A suggestion: I believe that it would be a good idea that both windows, "Categories" and "Bit Name", also changes size if the main window does it.

Greetings.

Width, Height, or both?

I had it that way originally but thought it might be more useful if the "Bit" area was resized. I haven't yet figured out how to drag to resize the different windows.

Added! Link updated in OP.

Also, added a feature allowing the user to open the Bit with an external text editing application. Very similar to the Tools menu in Neobook itself! Very useful if you use a text editor that has syntax highlighting. And a search feature in the edit menu!
