Resize Panel (Objects) with Mouse -Example

Post by Boo (Gulf Breeze) »

Hi All,

This is a simple example of how to resize objects with your mouse. You simply implement a timer and use a text object with drag & drop mode. (This example can be cleaned up I am sure, but you will get the basic idea.)

FYI: In Book Properties, under General, you can set the Drag cursor to an arrow pointer to simulate the normal drag cursor.

In the .zip file, you will find a sample .exe file, the .pub file, and an arrow cursor file (resize3.cur).

Cheers,

Oh..download not working :(
I want something similar, want to DROP an image of a arrow
onto a rectangle (it holds an image) and resize/move that arrow to point to
something in the image rectangle.
Can it be done in HpwImage Hans? Theres something there like 'Load Stamp BotLef'
but if i load image can it be resized/rotated like in your HpwSimpleGraph?
Any pointers would be helpful Thanks,
Robbie

The above example was for a splitter used to resize two objects. You can find a similar example below:
