NeoBook agoniza! Sin haber comprado nunca una copia a "Danito", fueron muchos los días felices que pasé programando con este "lenguage", sólo como un pasatiempo, sin lucrar en ningún momento y realizando aplicaciones para amigos, compañeros de trabajo y familiares (en especial a mis nietos), desarrollé sistemas con bases de datos (control de farmacia, manejo de inventarios, consultorio médico...), en matemática y bioestadística (generador o simuladores estadísticos, análisis,..), juegos didácticos (con audio, imágenes...), interactuando con la red, manejando cosas simples de electrónica (Arduino) ... en fin una gran variedad de programas por el simple placer del reto. Ayudé a los que pude dentro del foro, con sus dudas al hacer su programación, aporté algunos recursos y no fueron pocos que a título personal (via email) también les proporcioné algo de mi poco conocimiento. Hoy veo con pesar ya no hay crecimiento ni oferta de tal en los creadores de tan magnifico "lenguage" ni en los programadores y mi tiempo de cambiar a otros llegó, dejaré de lado ni querido NeoBook y me meteré de lleno a Proplog ( ya tengo C++, Java, Javascript, Html5, Sql, Php, MySql, VB, Android, Basic Liberty.. y como NeoBook solo por pasatiempo) y en mi jubilación creo Prolog es un gran reto, pero lo que me ha dejado NeoBook me servirá para implementar alguna herramienta que me ayude a mejor aprender/entender ese otro lenguage. Gracias amigos NeoBooqueros por lo que me dieron y me dejaron dar, si resucitara NB estoy seguro lo intentaría de nuevo. Ayant n'a jamais acheté une copie de « Danito » avait beaucoup de jours heureux que je passais la programmation avec cette « langue » seulement comme un passe-temps sans but lucratif en peu de temps et de faire des applications pour les amis, les collègues et la famille (en particulier mes ****-enfants), je mis au point des systèmes de bases de données (contrôle de gestion des stocks de pharmacie, cabinet médical ...), les mathématiques et biostatistique (générateur ou simulation statistique, analyse, ..), des jeux éducatifs (avec audio, des images. ..), en interaction avec le réseau, la gestion des choses simples dans l'électronique (Arduino) ... enfin une variété de programmes pour le simple plaisir du défi. J'ai aidé ceux qui pourraient dans le forum, vos questions en faisant sa programmation, j'ai apporté des ressources et ne sont pas quelques personnes qui, à titre personnel (par courrier électronique) ont également leur a fourni une partie de mon peu de connaissances. Aujourd'hui, je vois bien qu'il n'y a pas de croissance ou la fourniture de tels dans les créateurs de ce magnifique « langue » ou les programmeurs et mon temps de changer les autres sont venus, je laisserai de côté ou voulaient NeoBook et je vais mettre carrément à Proplog (et je C ++, Java, Javascript, HTML5, Sql, Php, MySql, VB, Android, Basic Liberté .. et comme NeoBook juste pour passe-temps) et dans ma retraite, je Prolog est un grand défi, mais ce qui m'a laissé NeoBook me aider mettre en place un outil qui m'aide à mieux apprendre / comprendre cette autre langue. Je vous remercie des amis NeoBooqueros alors je suis et me laisser donner si NB'm ressuscitée serait certainement essayer à nouveau. Curiosamente, tengo una manera de pensar bastante distinta a la tuya; en síntesis dice:
"No se trata de lo que la herramienta puede hacer, sino de lo que tu puedes hacer con la herramienta"
A pesar de haber cumplido mas de 30 años de uso, tengo un par de instalaciones comerciales hechas con Clipper Summer 87, que, a pesar de ser sumamente obsoletas, funcionan tan bien, que la siguen usando de testigo para ver si la nueva aplicación de windows no comete errores...
Ahh, y ese programa incorporaba conceptos básicos de multitasking, porque además de manejar el timer (en modo reloj) en tiempo real, tenía una especie de spooler de impresora, que permitía hacer listados al tiempo que se consultaba stock, se facturaba y se verificaba cuentas corrientes.
Y todo esto con Clipper Summer 87.
Cualquier programa se puede hacer con Assembler, de cualquier tecnología y tipo de prestaciones.
Sólo hay que tener ganas de trabajar.
Estoy muy lejos de creer que NeoBook esté agonizando. Hay muchísimas cosas por hacer, para las cuales NeoBook es la herramienta ideal.
Aquellos que pretenden hacer aplicaciones comerciales con Neo, están viciados de velocidad, porque hay centenares de lenguajes compilados que hacen procesos recursivos en la milésima parte de tiempo que lo hace NeoBook.
Todo lo conversado en este tiempo acerca del futuro de NeoBook, hizo surgir ideas, algunas verdaderamente interesantes.
Dave no es tonto. Por mensajes privados me estuvo preguntando acerca de mis ideas de transformación e imagino que también a algunos otros. Hay algunas posibilidades que NeoBook cambie su estrategia de Presentación y Comercialización.
De momento, todo está muy verde. hay mucho para seguir considerando, pero puedo dar certeza que NeoBook se prepara para transformarse nuevamente en un producto muy interesante.

Sobre a donde migrar si NB se apaga, pues ya todos somos grandecitos y debemos tener una idea clara de a donde apuntan nuestros proyectos, en la actualidad no es suficiente conocer solo una plataforma...(siempre debe haber un plan b) en mi caso sera C# de Visual Studio.NET que es gratuito, tiene centenares de vídeos de formación, apoyo online y un potencial enorme, pero igualmente hay otras excelentes alternativas {eso si, esforzándose un poquito para reaprender algo de programación} Igual conservare NB hasta el ultimo minuto, como mi herramienta mas querida y favorita "con NB di mis primeros pasos de programación y eso no se olvida"

Piensen que no para todos los usuarios NB ha sido un pasatiempo...seguramente algunos de nosotros hace unos años depositamos nuestra confianza en un producto que desde luego no esta obligado a tener un ciclo de permanencia eterno, pero sobre el cual no debería haber tanto silencio y misterio. (ninguno de nosotros desconoce que NB es excelente, pero lo que esta pasando con sus creadores si genera dudas y preocupaciones)
