add a secound background to a book?

is it possible to add a second background to the same book?

Not sure exactly what you mean by background.

Taking it at face value, here are some ideas:

If you are using a rectangle as a solid color background, you could set the object fill to another color.

If you are using an image you could hide one image and show another, or send one image to the back, the other to the front.

There are a few ways to handle a background image. :)

Hello,

Furthermore it is not clear what book means.

When book is the complete Pub, then it can have pages which each can have ist own Background Color/wallpaper.

sorry I should have said " master page " can a pub have more then one master page?

No, when you must have such Option a possible workarout might be to build 2 sets of objects on the masterpage and Group them.
Then switch visibility or move them outside when needed.

Why would you need such?
