You should be able to add the file to the 'ignore' or 'white' list. If not, disable it while downloading and installing, then be sure to activate it once again when done.

I think you need to leave the currency symbol out of the db. 12.50 is 12.50 and could be euros or dollars or pesos. Put the symbol in a text box next to the field. I believe currency format pertains to the number of decimal places.

Put the code you use to display the photo in a timer.

How about creating and printing an article? You can use tables to control the formatting (mostly).
